Yaesu FTdx10 Review by VK4DX

The FTdx10 is Yaesu's response (and challenger) to the ICOM IC-7300 HF transceiver, currently ham radio's most popular transceiver.

 

The FTdx10 costs several hundred dollars more than the 7300, but it is near the very top of Rob Sherwood's Receiver Performance List.

 

Although performance fanatics swear this transceiver is much better than the 7300, some of the reviewers for magazines still prefer the 7300 over the FTdx10.  Why is this?
