Replacement T/R Relay for Eagle

Oli, DL3MCO  has suggested replacing the Ten-Tec EAGLE's original                                    AIXCOM T/R Relay with an SDS DR12V Reed Relay.

THERE ARE NO STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS MOD.

 

It is claimed that this mod is very easy and from the pictures (see photo gallery below), it seems easy enough to do for anyone who can solder.

I have used these relays in several small transistorized amplifiers with 200w or more and never had any problems.  See magazine article below (in German).
